LiftMaster, installed by the shop
Limoge & Sons handles residential openers the same way it handles doors: sales, installation, maintenance and repairs, all from one shop. We proudly install LiftMaster garage door openers, and LiftMaster openers offer remote access and smart home integration.
Maintenance and repairs are part of what the shop does for openers too, alongside sales and installation.
Chain, belt or jackshaft
A chain drive opener pulls the door on a metal chain. A belt drive opener does the same job on a rubber belt instead of a chain.
A jackshaft opener skips the overhead rail entirely and mounts on the wall beside the door, turning the shaft directly. Limoge & Sons sells, installs and services all three.

When an opener or keypad quits
Malfunctioning openers are on the shop’s own list of reasons people call for garage door service. Sometimes it is the opener itself, and sometimes it is a keypad that has simply stopped talking to the door, which can look like the same problem from the driveway even though the fix is different.
One Google reviewer called about a dead access pad on an in-law’s garage door, and Wendy explained the options, from reprogramming to replacement.

A dead keypad, explained
A keypad that will not respond is not always a dead opener. It is worth a call to the shop before assuming the worst, whether the fix turns out to be a battery, a reprogram or a replacement.
